Luxology Modo Patchwork Script
making random maps.. more randomer?
Luxology modo has a fantastic system of Falloffs where you can use just about anything you can think of to displace geometry in the viewport. This script allows you to quickly create a patchwork of randomly affected polygons using a weight map. This weight map can then be used to affect tools in really interesting ways.
Presently the tool only works reliably with single polygons (like in the case of oh.. I don’t know.. an explosion?) We’re planning on adding some cool features to this one shortly.
This was created at the request of Captain Obvious from the Luxology forums.
