Coalmarch Productions Provides Comprehensive Web Services for GOTR

Local agency to supply Web development services to Girls on the Run

Cary, NC (March 10, 2009) — Coalmarch Productions®, a leading service provider for online solutions, designed and developed a website for Girls on the Run (GOTR) of the Triangle, Inc. The website features a Drupal based Content Management System (CMS), and provides a range of needs common to many non-profit organizations. 

“The attractive design and the super user-friendly Content Management System is more than we could have ever expected,” said Kelly Hurter, executive director of GOTR. “In addition, the new site makes it so much easier for our staff and board members to communicate internally.”

The site utilizes structured information architecture to interface with the community-at-large in a marketing capacity to appeal to potential program participants, philanthropists looking to donate, and volunteers looking to get involved with the organization. 

The second phase of development will launch in March, and will address the internal needs of GOTR by providing a platform for program coaches, volunteers, board members and administrators to share information and collaborate to further the mission of the organization.

About Girls on the Run Girls on the Run is a life changing, character development program for girls ages 8-12. Through a combination of running, lessons and a community service project, girls are taught values that lead to a confidant sense of self; outside the “girl box.” The 12-week program culminates with the girls’ participation in a non-competitive 1 or 3.1 mile walk/run event.
