Pre-Launch

Get ready for the count down.

In this phase, your website is set up on a “staging area” where it is fully functional and ready for testing, but not yet visible to the public.

At this time you or your designated staff members will receive their Drupal training. This painless training session can be conducted either in person by a Coalmarch specialist, or via WebX online. You will also be provided with a Drupal user manual as a reference. The best part about the training is that you don’t need to know a speck of Programming language to learn how to add or change content to your site (including graphics). That is why Drupal® is such a valuable and user friendly Content Management platform, because in the end we believe you should be in control of your website without being forced to learn any Programming. And since the site is created based on a rigorous design suite, every Node or piece of content that you change or create, will automatically be styled to retain the theme and branding of your site.

The next section of Pre-Launch is a testing stage where for a two week period further site modifications are “frozen” while testing occurs. Coalmarch conducts unit testing while you will conduct user acceptance testing. The purpose of this testing phase is to ensure that there are no anomalies in your website or application and that we have fully developed the project according to your specifications. Any anomalies or requirement inconsistencies are corrected prior to the site or application going live.

Once your website or application is polished and refined, we begin implementing it into our production environment or your Web Hosting service. Now its time to move on to Implementation.
