Nikon D90 - Virtual Tour Photographers Best Friend

With the recent release of the Nikon D90 Digital SLR camera, Virtual Tour photographers like ourselves can go one step further for the client and provide not only static tour shots of a property or location, but with the touch of a button shoot a High Definition video using the same piece of equipment.

The 12.2MP camera shoots HD video at 1280x720 resolution which is more than adequate for Realtors or business owners to show off the new property. This really is a breakthrough achievement in my opinion by Nikon as I’m constantly looking for ways to carry less equipment and be able to edit and produce high quality content using the least amount of time. This just puts Nikon ahead of the game once again, but I’m sure other manufactures will have an opponent in the Digital SLR/HD Video ring soon enough.
