The shopping cart portions of Google Checkout are overall pretty sweet for merchants. It’s quick to implement something basic, has the potential for a lot more power if you need it, and they keep the fees low for the industry. There are definitely some disadvantages right now, as well. For example, you can’t handle international orders, but I suspect that won’t be true for long. The same can’t be said of my biggest gripe: all pricing information is handled client-side, which is a huge and frustratingly common problem for software applications.
