What they do in the office
Jason is the one that makes us all look better. As Creative Director, he gets to put his stamp of approval on anything creative that leaves the office. He loves his job, and it shows. Jason wakes up thinking about good design and goes to sleep thinking about good design, even claiming that his best creative brainstorming occurs in the shower (but hey, we won’t comment on that one).
We know he’s a little obsessed with aesthetics, but its a good thing for us and our clients. He applies his look-good magic to logos, letterheads, brochures, websites, multimedia projects and anything else he gets his hands on, keeping his creative designer soul well satisfied. As far as nerf attacks go, he’s been known to assault without warning while ignoring the “please shoot below my face” rule. Go Jason!
What they do out of the office
When he’s not prettying things up around here, Jason is outdoorsy (a rarity in our business). He likes to camp, play volleyball and basketball, snowboard, kayak and travel as well as spend time with his family, friends, and wife Wendy. But just when you thought he was holding the brunt of social normalcy around here, he brings the geek back by keeping his nose in books reading 100-150 books a year (nerd!). He also caved into peer pressure and invested in an xBox 360, which means he spends a decent amount of time battling (and losing to) 12 year olds online, much to his chagrin. Even with the tweens on his back, Jason keeps a positive outlook and spreads optimism and positivity wherever he goes.

findability, orphan of the web design industry
Jason Stanley | 04-04-08Aarron Walter from A List Apart has written a very good piece on “Findability”, which takes a fresh new look at often overlooked aspects of web design.
Once upon a time in a web design agency, there lived a sad little boy…
