What they do in the office

A native of Utah, Ashley is a mover and shaker – literally. She’s lived in Utah, Massachusetts, & Florida before settling in North Carolina. She’s also gallivanted around this crazy country, wandered a bit around Europe and did some island hopping in the Caribbean (“for work” - she swears!). But the call of joining the team and becoming a Coalmarcher was enough to settle her wanderlust, at least for a while.

Ashley tap-taps away at her keyboard all day managing online marketing campaigns (SEO, PPC, social networking & more) for our clients. She is often brainstorming about creative ways to help a site gain some attention and rank. When she’s not typing, she’s usually reading about the latest trends to stay up to date or trying to pass off her awkward sense of humor as genuinely funny. She’s not very sly with a Nerf gun (after she hits you, she’ll giggle so you know it was her) and she still flinches at the foam darts (wimp-city).

Ashley excels at client communication and strives make sure they always know what she’s doing for their accounts and how it benefits them. She loves to keep her clients confident and informed. Though SEM is what she spends most of her time working on, Ashley strives to make all things around here work a little better. Whether its helping to streamline standard operating procedures or brainstorming about an alternative marketing venue - she wants to be an active part of developing creative solutions to every problem.

What they do out of the office

After hours Ashley dotes on her handsome husband and parents her two cats (Donkey Fat Fatty and Bucket The Baby). When she isn’t on her computer, she’s rocking Guitar Hero, schooling the any challengers at Dr. Mario, furrowing her brows over a crossword or jigsaw puzzle, reading science books (w00t! Weather & Immunology are awesome!) or taking photos of plants & bugs. Ashley is also a first time home owner with a whole set of new tools just waiting for her to bust out some of her legendary craftiness. She’s a surgeon with a bb gun and isn’t afraid to challenge you to a dance-off. Friendship on?
